I didnt build this track, we actually "rescued" it from the local raceway here in Daytona. Its named, "The Bellflower" by its builder. They said they were gonna get rid of it, and my wife and I made (a rather silly low) offer, and wound up with it. Its 18 feet long by 4 feet wide. The dilema came in getting it home, because the table wan not built to be taken apart......EVER! Well, after rounding up a friends race car trailer, we (it took 6 guys to lift it and walk it into the trailer) we got it home safe & sound. It was built in 1990 and many local state, regional & national HO races have been run on it. This pic here is how it looked at the local raceway before we took it home. This is a shot of the front & back straight, Pit Road & the Padock area. Looks like some of "the big boys" have showed up tonite!

This is the "spectator & grandstand" area. You can see the ticket office, food consessions, "cut away" car for the fans, t shirt shack, kiddy playgrounds and the restrooms.

Another shot of the scales, tech and the Goodyear Tire truck. Snap On Tools made an appearence tonite! The Pace car & Pace Truck are staged and ready!

Here is a close up of the kiddy playground. It will be packed later tonite!!
